Amy Browne

Amy is a post-production supervisor and documentary producer driven by a passion for character-centred stories that educate, inspire, and entertain. Recently, she worked as Associate Producer with Common Room Productions on Welcome to Yiddishland (Sydney International Film Festival, 2024). Previously, she co-directed and produced the award-winning feature documentary A Will for the Woods (Full Frame, DOC NYC, AFI Docs, 2013), a film about the green burial movement, which garnered ten awards, including four audience awards.

Amy has worked internationally in New York City, Sydney, and Melbourne with organisations such as the Sydney Opera House, Arts Centre Melbourne, Vice, Human Rights Arts & Film Festival, Steady Orbits, and Proud Mother Pictures. She has cherished her experiences in the film industry, collaborating with passionate professionals across roles in production, post-production, and distribution. These efforts have culminated in projects showcased at prestigious film festivals such as Sundance, Tribeca, Berlinale, and Rotterdam.
